This 1873 Carbine model is chambered for 44-40 Winchester and features a black walnut stock with a satin oil finish, blued steel strap buttplate, blued steel saddle ring, and has a ladder rear sight and blade front sight. This rifle also is drilled/tapped for an optional tang-mounted rear sight.
