Description
The AGM Global Vision NVG-50 NL1 is a dual-channel night vision goggle and binocular built around a redundant pair of Gen 2+ Level 1 image intensifier tubes for true stereoscopic vision in low- and no-light conditions. Designed for hands-free operation, the NVG-50 is helmet-mountable, lightweight, and compact, making it well-suited for tactical and hunting use.
Optics use a 1x magnification with an integrated 19mm objective and multi-coated glass to deliver a wide 51-degree field of view so the operator can maintain situational awareness without sweeping the binoculars across the scene. Built-in features include manual gain control for fine brightness adjustment, an integral infrared (IR) illuminator for close-range illumination, and a bright-light cut-off to protect the tubes when ambient light spikes.
Power comes from a single AA alkaline or CR123A battery for up to 20 hours of runtime, keeping weight and pack size down during extended missions or night hunts. The GLE/BNO mount configuration is included for head or helmet mounting on a compatible shroud.
