Description
The SnapSafe GlideVault is a compact drawer-style handgun safe engineered for fast, one-handed access to a full-size pistol. Its 16-gauge steel housing is finished in a clean silver finish and is sized to drop into a nightstand drawer, slide under a desk, or tuck into a larger cabinet without modifying your furniture.
Quick access is handled by a sleek tempered glass touchpad with silent mode. The pad accepts a programmable 4- to 6-digit code, and the safe ships pre-set to 1-2-3-4-ENTER so it is ready to load the day it arrives. A backup barrel key and a front-mounted micro-USB port provide two independent fail-safes for the electronics, which run on four AAA batteries. The pry-resistant steel door holds firm against casual attempts to reach the contents.
At roughly 15.9″ wide by 12.2″ deep and 4.4″ tall, the GlideVault gives you enough interior room for a duty-size handgun with space to spare for a spare magazine or a compact holstered pistol. The unit tips the scales at 26 lbs, so it stays planted on the deck of a drawer and does not slide around when you retrieve the firearm.
