Description
The Kel-Tec R50 is a semi-automatic tactical rifle that brings the high-velocity 5.7x28mm cartridge to a long-gun platform. Sharing its DNA with the futuristic P50 pistol, the R50 wraps that proven chambering in a purpose-built 16.10″ barrel carbine designed for speed, accuracy, and serious magazine capacity.
Built around a black receiver with a polymer grip, the R50 features over 7 inches of Picatinny rail along the top for mounting red dots, low-power variables, or magnifiers. Out of the box it ships with adjustable iron sights tunable for windage and elevation, so you can run it as-is or use the rail for your preferred optic.
The barrel is threaded for muzzle devices or suppressors, and the action feeds from a 50-round detachable magazine for a true 50+1 capacity. A side-folding stock rests flush against either side of the grip when folded for compact transport, and an ambidextrous safety keeps controls accessible to both right- and left-handed shooters.
A QD sling mount on the receiver makes it easy to attach a push-button sling for hands-free carry, and overall length runs from 21.50″ folded to 30.50″ extended. At just 3.48 lbs, the R50 is exceptionally light for a 5.7x28mm carbine, and the 1:7″ twist stabilizes the full range of 5.7x28mm projectiles.
