Description
The Franklin Armory F17-L is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in the powerful .17 Winchester Super Mag (17 WSM) cartridge. Built around a gas-piston operating system on an AR-style platform, the F17-L combines modern sporting rifle ergonomics with the flat trajectory and hard-hitting energy of the most potent commercial rimfire round available for varmint and predator hunting.
The 20″ precision barrel is button-rifled 4140 stainless steel with a 1:9″ twist and six grooves, threaded for the Aura muzzle brake. The receiver is machined from OD Green anodized aluminum and integrates a full-length Picatinny optics rail over an M-LOK handguard, giving shooters a clean mounting surface for red dots, magnified optics, bipods, and accessories. No iron sights are included, leaving the rail ready for the shooter’s preferred optic.
Franklin Armory equips the F17-L with a custom tuned trigger and thumb safety for familiar AR-platform controls. The rifle feeds from a detachable 10+1 magazine and rides on a black Bravo C stock. At 38.25″ overall and 9.90 lbs, the F17-L is a balanced, easy-handling platform for varmint control, predator hunting, and extended range sessions.
