The Cold Steel Trapper is a classic slip-joint folder patterned after the traditional American Trapper carried by outdoorsmen for generations. This version pairs authentic brown jigged bone handle scales with polished bolsters for a timeless look that feels right at home in a pocket or on a hunt.
Two satin-polished 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blades deploy via traditional nail nicks. The clip point handles everyday cutting and piercing chores, while the spey blade is well-suited for skinning and detail work. Both blades ride on the traditional non-locking slip-joint mechanism – a hallmark of the pattern that makes it legal in many jurisdictions where lockbacks are restricted.
