Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Compact Hunter brings Weatherby’s SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee to a scaled-down bolt-action platform designed for fast handling in the field. Chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, this compact sporting rifle pairs a 20″ stainless steel barrel with the proven Vanguard action for a versatile deer and medium-game package.
The barrel is finished in Tungsten Gray to match the stainless steel receiver, giving the rifle a uniform, weather-resistant appearance. It arrives threaded and ready for the included Accubrake muzzle brake or a suppressor. Internally, the action feeds a 5+1 capacity and is paired with an adjustable two-stage match trigger and a three-position safety. A 1:9.5″ twist rate stabilizes the wide range of bullet weights that make 7mm-08 Rem a do-it-all hunting cartridge.
The injection-molded composite Monte Carlo stock is finished in Black with Gray and Orange Sponge accents, providing a durable, weather-resistant platform with classic hunting-rifle comb geometry. Sized for compact handling, the Vanguard Compact Hunter measures just 39″-40″ overall and weighs 6.50 lbs, making it light enough for all-day carry while still balanced and steady on a bench or rest. Built for right-hand shooters, the Vanguard Compact Hunter delivers Weatherby-grade accuracy in a more compact, suppressor-ready configuration.
