The Rise Armament RA-212 is an extended-latch charging handle purpose-built as a drop-in upgrade for mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers. CNC machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum and finished in gray hardcoat anodizing, it delivers a durable, lightweight replacement for the standard factory handle without adding meaningful weight to the rifle.
The extended latch profile offers a larger purchase area for racking the bolt, making it faster and easier to charge the action – especially when running red dots or magnifiers, shooting with gloves, or working from awkward or non-standard positions. It installs directly into any standard AR-15 upper receiver as a drop-in replacement with no modifications required, and features the engraved Rise Armament logo on the latch.
