Description
The B&P Heavy Dove & Quail 12 Gauge shotshell is purpose-built for upland bird hunters chasing doves, quail, and similar small game. Loaded with a 1-1/8 oz payload of 7.5 lead shot, this 2.75″ shell produces consistent, dense patterns at the ranges typical for walk-hunting and pass-shooting in open fields and brushy cover.
B&P is a well-regarded shotshell manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality hunting loads. The Heavy Dove & Quail line is tuned for a 1255 fps muzzle velocity, balancing manageable recoil with the downrange energy needed for clean, ethical kills on fast-moving birds.
Whether you’re planning a September dove opener, working a covey rise on a quail plantation, or hunting similar upland game, this load delivers reliable field performance. The 7.5 shot pellet is well-suited to small birds, and the heavy 1-1/8 oz charge helps maintain pattern density across the longer shots that frequently come up in the field.
