This .223 Rem load is topped with a 50 gr Copper Alloy eXpanding (CX) projectile, a monolithic copper bullet with a polymer tip engineered for devastating terminal performance and reliable expansion across a wide velocity range.
Loaded in brass cases for consistent ignition and reloadability, the round delivers a 3300 fps muzzle velocity and 1209 ft lbs of muzzle energy. The higher velocity translates to flatter trajectories, less wind drift, and improved downrange energy retention – ideal for the varmint hunter and equally well-suited to home defense applications. As a fully lead-free load, it’s also a smart pick where non-toxic projectiles are required or preferred.
