Description
The Hornady Outfitter line is built to give hunters a hard-hitting, monolithic copper load for the widest range of conditions. Loaded in the 7mm PRC cartridge with a 160 grain Copper Alloy eXpanding (CX) bullet, this round delivers a muzzle velocity of 3000 fps and muzzle energy of 3197 ft lbs.
The CX projectile is a one-piece copper-alloy design that will not separate on impact, giving uniform, controlled expansion, deep penetration, and over 95% weight retention. Hornady loads the Outfitter in corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass cases for reliable feeding and extraction in the field.
Designed for hunting, the 7mm PRC Outfitter is a modern monolithic-copper hunting load packaged in a 20-round box, with 10 boxes per case.
