Description
The Winchester SXP Hybrid Hunter is a versatile 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun engineered for fast handling and reliable performance in the field. Part of Winchester’s Super X Pump (SXP) line, the Hybrid Hunter blends purpose-built field features with the shootability that waterfowl, turkey, and upland hunters expect from the SXP platform.
This configuration carries a 28-inch back-bored vent-rib barrel with a 3-inch chamber, giving it the reach and pattern density needed for waterfowl, turkey, and pheasant hunting while staying light and quick on the swing. The barrel wears a Flat Dark Earth Perma-Cote finish for corrosion resistance in wet weather and is threaded for Invector-Plus flush chokes. Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified choke tubes are included so you can tune patterns to whatever the hunt demands.
A lightweight aluminum alloy receiver is finished in the same Flat Dark Earth Perma-Cote as the barrel, helping keep overall weight down to 6.14 lbs. The receiver pairs with a fixed composite stock finished in Woodland camouflage for concealment in marsh, timber, and field edges. A reversible crossbolt safety, drop-out trigger group, and TruGlo fiber-optic front sight round out the controls and sighting system. Right-hand configuration.
The SXP Hybrid Hunter holds 4+1 shells in its under-barrel magazine tube (using 2.75″ shells) and measures 48.50 inches overall. Built by Winchester Repeating Arms, the Hybrid Hunter is an all-around pump shotgun ready for the wetland, the field, or the range.
