The Mossberg Patriot LR Tactical is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, designed to deliver long-range accuracy in an adjustable, chassis-driven package. Drawing on the proven Patriot action and rebuilding it around modern precision ergonomics, this rifle offers serious long-range potential in a factory-built platform.
At its core is a 22″ medium bull barrel finished in matte blue with a 1:8″ twist, well suited for stabilizing a wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights. The barrel is threaded at the muzzle for suppressor or muzzle brake attachment and pairs with Mossberg’s spiral-fluted bolt for smooth cycling and a clean aesthetic. A factory Picatinny rail is mounted to the receiver for direct optics installation, and the rifle ships with no iron sights, leaving the platform entirely optics-ready.
Rather than a traditional sporter stock, the LR Tactical wears the MDT Oryx Tactical chassis in Flat Dark Earth. The one-piece synthetic chassis provides an M-LOK-compatible forend for accessory mounting and integrated aluminum V-block bedding that locks the action in place for repeatable accuracy. The chassis-driven layout delivers the feel and modularity of a dedicated precision rifle.
The trigger is Mossberg’s user-adjustable LBA system, allowing the shooter to dial in the pull weight to preference. A familiar lever safety sits at the tang for intuitive operation. The rifle ships with an AICS-pattern detachable box magazine, providing a 10+1 total capacity using one of the most widely supported precision-rifle magazine standards available.
Measuring 42.25″ overall and weighing 8.80 lbs, the Patriot LR Tactical is a right-hand, full-length long-range rifle ready for bipod, bag, or pack use straight out of the box.
