Description
The CVA QRBP Variflame Conversion Kit (AC1737) is a premium muzzleloader upgrade that converts compatible CVA black powder rifles from a standard 209 shotgun primer ignition to CVA’s proprietary QRBP Variflame ignition system, which fires from large rifle primers for a hotter, more consistent spark at the breech.
CVA recommends this conversion kit for muzzleloaders chambered in .45 caliber or .50 caliber and built in 2010 or later. Compatible rifles include the CVA Accura LR-X, Accura MR-X, CVA Optima, and CVA Wolf.
The kit ships complete with ten reusable VariFlame adapters for repeated reloads, plus the priming tools, an aluminum punch, and a loading press needed to install the new ignition system on the bench or in the field.
By stepping up from a 209 primer to a large rifle primer, the QRBP Variflame system delivers the hotter, more consistent ignition at the breech that CVA designed it to provide – a meaningful upgrade for hunters who want to move beyond a 209 ignition in their compatible CVA muzzleloader.
