Description
The Old Timer Trail Boss is a compact fixed-blade caping knife purpose-built for the precise detail work of field-dressing big game. Its 3.70″ caper blade is ground from stainless steel with a plain edge, making it ideal for the fine, controlled cuts around shoulders, neck, and other tight areas where a standard drop-point hunter is too aggressive.
The blade is mounted on a full-tang skeleton that runs the full length of the 5.25″ TPE handle, giving the Trail Boss excellent strength and a secure, comfortable grip in cold, wet, or bloody conditions. TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) provides a tacky, weather-resistant surface that holds up to the demands of a long hunt. The knife measures 9″ overall, keeping it lightweight and easy to pack without sacrificing the leverage you need for skinning work.
Old Timer has long been a trusted name among hunters and outdoorsmen, and the Trail Boss continues that tradition with a no-nonsense design that simply gets the job done. A sheath is included, so the knife is ready to pack out to the truck, slip into a pack, or hang on a belt right out of the box.
