QuikClot hemostatic gauze accelerates clotting with kaolin to control severe bleeding from wounds that cannot be effectively treated with a tourniquet, while the included SWAT-T (Stretch, Wrap, and Tuck) tourniquet provides a rapid, intuitive means of controlling extremity hemorrhage. Together they give a single responder the core tools needed to stabilize a casualty until higher-level care arrives.
