Description
The Browning Silver Field is a 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun built for waterfowl and general field hunting. Its 3.5″ magnum chamber accepts 2.75″, 3″, and 3.5″ shells, feeding from a tubular magazine for a 4+1 capacity (4 rounds in the tube plus 1 in the chamber).
The 28″ vent rib barrel wears a tough Cerakote Flat Dark Earth finish to match the semi-humpback receiver, and is threaded for Browning’s Invector-Plus flush choke system; Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder choke tubes ship with the gun. A brass bead front sight sits atop the rib, and the controls are rounded out with a crossbolt safety at the trigger guard and a gold plated trigger.
The right-hand synthetic stock carries Browning’s AURIC waterfowl camo with a textured gripping surface for positive handling in wet conditions. Overall length measures 49″ and the shotgun tips the scales at 7.90 lbs.
