Description
The Lehigh Defense Wide Flat Nose is a monolithic all-copper reloading bullet intended for handgun hunting. Machined to a .400″ bullet diameter and weighing 190 gr, the WFN is optimized for 10mm Auto handgun handloads and .400 Legend rifle loads, giving handloaders a heavy projectile suited to medium and large game.
The Wide Flat Nose (WFN) profile places a large, flat meplat on the front of the bullet and is the geometry Lehigh specifies for dangerous-game hunting handloads. Both the jacket and core are copper, producing a lead-free monolithic bullet that retains nearly all of its weight on impact. A ballistic coefficient of .148 and a sectional density of .170 back up its hunting pedigree, and the .755″ overall length seats cleanly in standard 10mm Auto cases.
