This is the Marlin 305048 magazine latch, the catch that retains the detachable clip magazine in Marlin’s bolt-action rimfire rifles.
One part number covers an unusually wide span here — from the 25M through the XT series, across the .22 WMR and .17 HMR chamberings. Fitment on these rifles goes by model rather than by looks, since the receivers are near-identical from the outside across the family.

Condition: Used, with the dark factory finish largely intact. Light grey scuffing along the cut edges and across the outside of the bend. The mounting plate is flat and true, the bend crisp, and all three holes round and unwallowed. Serrations on the thumb piece are sharp with only light finish wear. No rust, pitting, cracks or peening.
