Rifle Parts: Lyman Slip-On Front Sight Ramp
The band is cut at the bottom but it’s not cut through. There are light dings and some finish wear from normal use. No significant corrosion – Please review the photos closely for condition and to ensure that this part is correct for your model.
Gloss blued finish with “LYMAN” stamped on the left side, a deer in target on the right side, and marked 550 on the bottom side of the ramp.
A 10-32 set screw is required
Quick and easy to install, slip-on ramp front sights add that “custom sporter” look to a military rifle. The ramp slides snugly over the muzzle, and is locked firmly in place by a setscrew. To determine the correct ramp diameter for your rifle, measure the barrel 1/4 inch back from the muzzle. Ramps are available in the following standard diameters: .550″, .595″, .605 .610″, .620″, .630″, .640″. All slip-on type ramps are .668″ high from the center of the bore to the bottom of the dovetail. The Dovetail is standard 3/8″ and the set screw thread is 10-32.
