Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a full-size bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum. It features a 24″ cold hammer forged steel barrel in a 2 contour, with a blued finish and a threaded muzzle.
The action sits in a stainless steel receiver with a matching blued finish, drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Fire control is delivered by an adjustable two-stage match trigger, paired with a 3-position safety and an M16-style extractor. The rifle has a 3+1 capacity and a 1:9.5″ twist rate.
A black synthetic Monte Carlo stock provides weather-resistant durability and classic field ergonomics. At 44.50″ overall and 7.50 lbs, the Obsidian is a well-proportioned full-size hunting platform. It ships with no iron sights installed, ready for the shooter’s preferred optic.
