Description
The Tokarev USA TAR 12 brings the familiar manual of arms of an AR-platform rifle to a magazine-fed 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun, giving home-defense and tactical shooters reliable cycling in a compact, modular package. Chambered for 3-inch shells with a 5+1 capacity, the TAR 12 handles everything from light target loads up to heavy buckshot and slugs.
Built around an 18.50-inch black steel barrel, the action uses the proven Benelli choke system and ships with three choke tubes: Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified. The receiver is finished in an Urban Camo digital camouflage pattern that carries through to the synthetic furniture for a coordinated tactical look, while the barrel itself wears a durable matte black finish.
AR-style controls put the safety, bolt release, and magazine catch right where you expect them, making the TAR 12 intuitive for anyone already trained on the M4/AR-15 platform. Up top, flip-up front and rear sights are ready for immediate use, and the synthetic stock is cheek riser compatible for a proper head weld with optics mounted high. Right-hand configuration, an overall length of 37.75 inches, and a balanced 7.80 lb carry weight round out the package.
A 5-round detachable magazine is included with the TAR 12, and additional Tokarev 12-gauge magazines are available separately for fast reloads or extended capacity. Whether you are building a home-defense gun, a truck-gun, or a budget-friendly range platform, the TAR 12 delivers AR ergonomics and modularity in a no-nonsense 12-gauge package.
