Sako Base Installation: Drive the bases -forward on the tapered dovetail ribs of the Sako Rifle, tapping lightly with a small hammer on a hard wood block. If bases are not firmly wedged in place, recoil will cause them to move forward or loosen and possibly disturb alignment. After the bases are firmly in place, tighten the locking set screws.
