Description
The Maxim Defense PDX 505-SPS is a compact AR-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. This new current-production pistol from Maxim Defense combines a 5.50″ barrel with a compact layout measuring just 18.75″ overall, built on the familiar AR platform in a short pistol configuration.
Constructed around a black metal finished receiver set, the PDX 505-SPS carries black polymer grips and synthetic stock material. The pistol feeds from a detachable magazine well with a 20+1 capacity. At 5.10 lbs unloaded, the PDX 505-SPS is a lightweight platform that preserves the standard AR manual of arms.
The PDX 505-SPS ships optic ready, allowing the user to mount a red dot, holographic sight, or low-power variable optic directly to the platform. Chambered in proven 5.56 NATO and built on standard AR architecture, the Maxim Defense PDX 505-SPS delivers substantial firepower in a compact pistol package.
