This Remington 870 breech bolt comes with the extractor installed and fits 12 gauge pre-FlexTab receivers. This listing does not include the firing pin, firing pin retaining pin, or locking block. You will need to transfer those from your existing bolt or source them separately.

Important – pre-FlexTab fitment: This is the earlier pattern bolt, used before Remington’s FlexTab carrier revision of the mid-1980s. Pre-FlexTab and FlexTab components are not interchangeable. Identify which pattern your 870 is before ordering. FlexTab guns have a relief slot visible in the receiver near the carrier, and the word FLEXTAB is often marked on the carrier itself. If your gun is FlexTab, this bolt is not correct for it.

Fitment: Remington 870, 12 gauge, pre-FlexTab receivers only. Buyer is responsible for confirming correct pattern and fit. Installation and headspace verification should be performed by a qualified gunsmith.
