Description
The Arsenal SAM7K-44 is a Bulgarian-made 7.62x39mm semi-auto AK-pattern pistol built around a short 8.5″ hammer-forged, chrome-lined, threaded barrel and a black aluminum forged and milled receiver. Styled after the classic Krinkov AKSU, the SAM7K-44 pairs a compact short-barrel layout with the higher-tolerance build quality Arsenal is known for, delivering a premium take on the Krink-pattern pistol platform.
The receiver is forged and then machined from a solid block of aluminum, providing the rigidity and precise fit that defines a premium AK. The barrel is threaded 24×1.5mm RH behind the front sight block for mounting a muzzle device, and the rear of the receiver carries a Picatinny rail with QD sling port for attaching a pistol brace or optics plate. Controls include an ambidextrous safety and a peep rear sight paired with a front sight post. Furniture is black polymer, including the pistol grip and handguards.
The SAM7K-44 is rated at a 5+1 capacity and feeds from a detachable box magazine, making it a compact and controllable package well suited to sport shooting, self-defense, or AK-pattern pistol collecting. Overall length is 17.5″ and unloaded weight is 8 lbs, placing the SAM7K-44 firmly in the heavy, soft-shooting pistol bracket AK enthusiasts favor.
Whether you’re adding a milled-receiver AK pistol to a collection, looking for a purpose-built 7.62x39mm pistol platform with a threaded barrel, or want a Krink-pattern gun built to Arsenal’s higher-tolerance standard, the SAM7K-44 delivers the craftsmanship, reliability, and classic AK character in a compact package.
