This is the Type 99 Arisaka rear sight slide, early type, with the springs that hold the folding anti-aircraft sighting wings in either the folded or extended position. This slide rides on the rear sight ladder and carries the AA wings used for engaging low-flying aircraft — a feature found on early-production Type 99 rifles before it was dropped from later wartime manufacture.

Included: One rear sight slide with its AA wing retention springs, the parts pictured. Anti-aircraft wings themselves not included.

• Will physically fit later-production rifles, though it would not be historically correct on one built without AA wings
