The B&P Ammunition Competition One is a 12 Gauge target load from Baschieri & Pellagri, designed for skeet and clay-target shooting. Each 2.75″ hull carries a 1 oz payload of 9 lead shot launched at a mild 1160 fps muzzle velocity, delivering dense patterns at the close engagement distances typical of clay-target games. Reduced felt recoil comes courtesy of B&P’s proprietary Gordon Technology case-wad system, which controls chamber pressure and dampens recoil so long practice sessions and competition rounds stay comfortable.
The 9 shot charge is a time-tested pick for clay work, throwing a tight, even pattern that breaks targets cleanly.
