Description
The Browning Silver Field is a purpose-built semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3-1/2″ chamber that cycles 2-3/4″, 3″, and 3-1/2″ shells interchangeably. Built around Browning’s Active Valve gas operating system, this autoloader reliably runs light target loads up to heavy 3-1/2″ magnum waterfowl ammunition without manual adjustment.
This Field variant pairs a 26″ vent rib barrel with a semi-humpback receiver, both finished in a tough Cerakote Flat Dark Earth (FDE) coating for corrosion resistance in wet hunting environments. The barrel is threaded for Invector-Plus Flush choke tubes and ships with Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder chokes included. A brass bead front sight sits atop the vent rib for fast target acquisition.
The AURIC camo synthetic stock features a textured gripping surface for confident handling with cold or wet hands, and the contrasting FDE receiver is topped with a crossbolt safety and accented with a gold-plated trigger. Capacity is 4+1 with 2-3/4″ shells, overall length is 47″, and weight is approximately 7.5 lbs, balanced for all-day carry in the marsh or field.
