Description
The Browning Silver Field is a purpose-built semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a versatile 3.5″ chamber that accepts everything from light 2.75″ target loads up to heavy 3.5″ magnum shells. Built around Browning’s Active Valve gas operating system, the Silver automatically adjusts to a wide range of loads for reliable cycling in the field.
This Silver Field configuration pairs a 28″ vent-rib barrel with a semi-humpback receiver finished in Flat Dark Earth (FDE). The action cycles shells through a 4+1 capacity tube magazine, and the barrel is threaded for Browning’s Invector-Plus flush choke system with Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder chokes included. A brass bead front sight rides on the vent rib for quick target acquisition, and a crossbolt safety sits behind the trigger for natural thumb operation. The trigger itself is finished in gold plating, a hallmark touch on Browning Silver-series shotguns.
The synthetic stock is finished in Realtree Max-7 camouflage with a textured gripping surface for a secure hold in wet or cold conditions. At 49″ overall length and weighing 7.90 lbs, the Silver Field balances well for all-day carry in the marsh or field. Right-hand configuration.
