Description
The Christensen Arms Modern Precision is an ultra-lightweight chassis rifle built around a free-floating, carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel and an aluminum receiver dressed in a Black Nitride finish. Chambered in 300 PRC, it pairs a precision target-contour barrel with a tunable TriggerTech trigger and a billet aluminum chassis featuring MagneLock technology and a side-folding stock for compact transport.
The 26-inch threaded target barrel is wrapped in carbon fiber for weight reduction and stiffness, and is finished in Black Nitride for durability and corrosion resistance. A 1:8 twist stabilizes the long, heavy-for-caliber projectiles the 300 PRC was designed to push, and the muzzle is tipped with a baffle brake for recoil reduction. The barrel is suppressor-ready with a 5/8×24 thread pitch, and a one-piece integrated receiver base accepts optics directly out of the box.
At the heart of the rifle is a billet aluminum chassis machined to deliver a rigid bedding platform while keeping overall weight to roughly 6.90 lbs. The chassis carries a tungsten anodized side-folding stock secured by the MagneLock system, giving the rifle a much shorter storage footprint without sacrificing the repeatable cheek weld and ergonomics of a full-length chassis. A polymer grip rounds out the user interface, and the right-hand configuration feeds from a 5+1 detachable box magazine.
Built for hunters and long-range shooters alike, the Modern Precision measures 47.50 inches overall and is supported by an aluminum receiver with an integrated optics base for mounting a scope. The combination of a lightweight carbon-fiber barrel, folding chassis, and TriggerTech trigger makes it equally capable across backcountry hunts and precision range work in 300 PRC.
