Description
The Daisy Powerline 5501 is a CO2-powered semi-automatic air pistol chambered in .177 BB and rated at 430 fps. It runs on a single 12-gram CO2 cylinder and uses a 15-shot clip to deliver authentic blowback action with every shot, giving the shooter the look and feel of a centerfire pistol without the cost or commitment of live ammunition.
Built around a full metal frame and topped with a black metal slide over a silver metal frame, the 5501 carries real weight in the hand. The smooth bore barrel drives .177 steel BBs out at a published 430 fps, while an integrated Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover accepts lights, lasers, and other tactical accessories. Molded grips provide a secure, comfortable hold without sharp seams or excessive bulk.
Sighting is handled by a blade ramp front sight paired with a fixed open rear sight, giving a clean sight picture for plinking and target work. A manual trigger block safety sits within the trigger group for safe handling between shots. At 6.80 inches overall and just 1 pound, the Powerline 5501 is compact enough for casual backyard plinking, training drills, and target practice with inexpensive steel BBs.
