Description
The Hi-Point JHP Gen2 brings a refreshed take on Hi-Point’s value-priced .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol platform. This Gen 2 update revises the original JHP with redesigned slide geometry, fresh grip texturing, and a factory threaded barrel ready for a compensator, suppressor, or other muzzle device.
At the heart of the package is a 4.50″ threaded steel barrel chambered in 45 ACP and rated for +P ammunition, paired with a 9+1 round capacity and a last-round hold-open for quicker reloads. The slide is steel with a durable black powder coat finish and serrations for charging and press checks.
The black polymer frame holds the package together while staying light and corrosion-resistant, and an integral Picatinny accessory rail accepts lights, lasers, and other accessories. Black polymer grip panels carry the updated texturing for a firmer hold, and 3-Dot fully adjustable sights provide a clear, easy-to-align sight picture.
Controls are deliberately straightforward: a combined magazine and thumb safety, a magazine release, and a slide stop that holds the action open on the last round. The barrel threads in the common .578×28 pattern, keeping the JHP Gen2 ready for a wide range of muzzle accessories straight out of the box.
