Description
The Hornady Sub-X is a 7.62x39mm (.3115″) rifle reloading bullet engineered for reliable expansion at subsonic velocities, making it a proven choice for suppressed and quiet-load applications. Each bullet features Hornady’s patented Flex Tip technology that initiates expansion at velocities as low as 900 fps, while the lead core and gilding metal jacket are designed to deliver deep penetration. The bullet meets FBI protocol terminal ballistic test requirements.
Sub-X projectiles are built to fit, feed, and function in a wide range of firearms, including semi-automatic rifles. The cannelured jacket provides a positive case crimp for reliable use in semi-auto platforms.
Each 255 grain bullet is packaged 100 per box, with 15 boxes per case. Whether loading for quiet-range sessions, hunting with a suppressor, or producing personal-defense ammunition, Sub-X bullets deliver the trusted terminal performance serious reloaders expect from Hornady.
