Description
The Leupold BX-4 Pro Guide HD Gen 2 10x42mm binocular is a compact, lightweight roof prism optic designed for hunters and outdoorsmen who demand premium resolution and clarity in the field. As the upgraded successor to one of Leupold’s best-selling binoculars, the Gen 2 features improved lens coatings and high-quality optical glass for sharper images and better glare reduction no matter the time of day.
At the heart of the BX-4 Pro Guide HD Gen 2 is a rugged Black Armor Coating that resists scratches and smudges on the external lenses, paired with Leupold’s proprietary Diamond Coat 2 lens coating on the objective and ocular systems for enhanced light transmission and image contrast.
The 10x42mm configuration pairs 10x magnification with bright 42mm objective lenses, producing a generous 314-foot field of view at 1,000 yards and a 4.20mm exit pupil. The long 17mm eye relief makes these binoculars comfortable for full-field observation with or without eyeglasses, and the close focus distance of approximately 9.3 feet allows detailed viewing of nearby subjects.
Built to perform in adverse conditions, the BX-4 Pro Guide HD Gen 2 is fogproof and waterproof, sealed to withstand rain, snow, and temperature swings without internal clouding. At just 25 ounces and 5.7 inches long, this binocular is sized for all-day carry in the field while delivering the optical performance Leupold is known for, and is backed by Leupold’s Lifetime Guarantee.
