The Liberty Ammunition OverWatch is a premium .357 Magnum defense load built around a lightweight 70 grain Open Cavity Design (OCD) bullet engineered for rapid expansion and deep penetration through common interior barriers. Loaded in the USA by Liberty Ammunition, the OverWatch line is purpose-built for home defense and law enforcement applications.
The OverWatch is loaded to a 1830 fps muzzle velocity, producing 520 ft lbs of muzzle energy from the 70 gr projectile and delivering a flatter trajectory than conventional heavy-bullet .357 defense loads. Cases are nickel-plated brass for smoother feeding, enhanced corrosion resistance, and improved visibility in low light. The Open Cavity Design bullet geometry is intended to provide consistent expansion and deep terminal performance, making it a smart choice for defensive use.
