This Mossberg 500 bolt assembly with slide fits Mossberg 500 pump action shotguns in 20 gauge. This is a complete assembly with the old style bolt lock and its matching slide. The bolt locks into the barrel extension on firing, and the bolt slide carries it through its travel as the action is cycled.
Old style versus new style: The old style bolt lock is longer and fills the entire opening in the bolt body. The new style is shorter and fills roughly three quarters of the opening front to back. Each bolt lock requires its matching slide, so the two styles are not interchangeable. This assembly includes the correct old style slide.
Included: Complete bolt assembly with bolt lock, firing pin, extractors, all springs and pins, plus the matching old style bolt slide.
Fits: Mossberg 500, 20 gauge.
Fitment: 20 gauge only, with the old style bolt lock and slide. Bolt assemblies are gauge-specific and will not interchange with 12 gauge or .410 guns. Compare the bolt lock against your existing assembly and the photos before ordering. Installation should be performed by a qualified gunsmith, and headspace and lockup verified before the shotgun is used.
Condition: Used original complete assembly with an even grey finish. No rust, pitting, or corrosion. Both extractors are present with intact claws, the pins and springs are all in place, and the bolt lock and slide are undamaged. Original machining marks visible throughout.
