Description
The Otis Defender Series is a purpose-built cleaning kit for .38 cal/9mm pistols. This multi-piece system gives handgun owners multiple ways to maintain the bore and action, including Otis’s signature Ripcord for fast one-pass cleaning and aircraft-grade Memory-Flex cables for proper top-to-breech maintenance.
The heart of the kit is the 9mm/.38 cal/.357 Ripcord, a self-contained bore cleaner with durable brass components that threads through the action and wipes fouling out in a single pull. The included 100% cotton 3″ patches (10 count) and large slotted tip pair directly with the Ripcord to scrub and wipe the bore without the need for a separate cleaning rod setup.
The kit also includes Memory-Flex cables for cleaning through the barrel’s curves and the brass components built for long service life – everything needed to keep your 9mm Luger or .38 Special pistol clear, clean, and ready for the next range session.
Caliber-specific by design, the Defender Pistol Cleaning Kit is a focused handgun cleaning solution for carry guns and range pistols alike.
