The Proof Research Pre-Fit Bolt Action Barrel is a precision drop-in replacement barrel chambered in 260 Remington, purpose-built for the Sig Cross rifle platform. Machined from stainless steel with a corrosion-resistant stainless finish, this 20″ pre-fit barrel installs directly into the Cross action without the need for a gunsmith.
Engineered with a 1:8″ twist rate and a 5-groove bore, this barrel is optimized to stabilize a wide range of 260 Rem bullet weights from light varmint projectiles through heavier long-range match offerings. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for straightforward installation of a muzzle brake or suppressor.
