The Proof Research AR-Style Barrel is a premium drop-in barrel chambered in .308 Winchester, cut to 18″ and configured with a rifle-length gas system. The bore carries a 1:10″ twist rate and 5-groove rifling.
The barrel’s signature feature is its carbon fiber wrap, which is up to 64% lighter than traditional steel barrels of similar contour while improving heat dissipation for cooler-running, longer-lasting performance during extended strings of fire.
The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for easy installation of muzzle brakes, flash hiders, or suppressor mounting hardware.
