The Proof Research Pre-Fit Bolt Action Barrel is a precision 20″ stainless steel replacement barrel engineered as a direct drop-in upgrade for the Sig Cross bolt-action rifle. Cut from stainless steel with a 5-groove bore and a fast 1:7.5 twist rate, this pre-fit barrel is purpose-built for 6mm Creedmoor precision and long-range applications.
As a pre-fit barrel, it is machined to factory-spec dimensions so it seats into the Sig Cross action without the gunsmith fitting required for traditional barrel installations – a true drop-in design for builders who want a straightforward swap.
