Description
The Remington Premier Long Range in 7mm PRC is a premium hunting load designed to put bonded projectiles on target at extended distances. Loaded by Remington Ammunition under the Premier line, this round pairs the modern magnum-class 7mm PRC cartridge with a tough 175 grain Speer Impact bonded hunting bullet engineered for the demands of long-range shooting.
The Speer Impact projectile is built around a sleek, tightly tapered profile with a boat-tail base and a rear-adjusted center of gravity for high ballistic efficiency. A polymer SlipStream Tip crowns the bullet to help initiate expansion consistently downrange. Its bonded construction is built to penetrate deep and hold together on impact – delivering the weight retention and terminal performance serious hunters rely on when shots get long and game gets heavy.
Remington drives the 175 grain bullet to a 3000 fps muzzle velocity, generating 3497 ft lbs of muzzle energy and giving this load the downrange performance serious hunters look for from the 7mm PRC platform. Whether you are stretching the distance across open country or running a magazine through a modern long-range hunting rifle, this Premier Long Range load is purpose-built for the task.
