This is the Remington Ejector for the Remington 552 Speedmaster and 572 Fieldmaster .22 rifles.
The 552 is a semi-automatic and the 572 a pump, but Remington built them on the same frame and introduced them within a couple of years of each other in the late 1950s, which is why one ejector serves both. Both rifles handle .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle interchangeably.

Fitting: The ejector kicks the fired case clear once the extractor has drawn it from the chamber, so a worn, bent or incorrectly seated ejector shows up as cases that fall back into the action, hang on the port, or stovepipe. After installation, cycle dummy rounds by hand and confirm the case clears the port every time, then test-fire single rounds before loading a full magazine.

Condition: Used ejectors in a dark gray steel finish, with original machining marks visible along the flats. Wear shows as light mottling and scattered specks, with no rust or pitting. The split legs are evenly spaced and correctly formed, the bodies are straight with no bends or twisting, and the tips are complete with no chipping.
