Description
The Rio Ammunition Texas Game Load High Velocity is a 12 Gauge upland-hunting shotshell built around a hefty 1-1/4 oz payload of 8 lead shot driven to a snappy 1330 fps muzzle velocity. Loaded in a traditional 2.75″ high brass hull, this load is dialed in for dove, quail, and other close-range upland birds.
Rio’s Texas Game Load line pairs the heavy 1-1/4 oz shot charge with a high-brass hull and a high-velocity propellant to push the dense pellet column downrange where upland hunters want it. With 8 shot delivering wide, even patterns at typical field ranges, this load is a natural fit for opening weekend at the dove field and for working coveys of quail across brushy edges and grain stubble.
Each box contains 25 rounds, and a full case ships 10 boxes for 250 rounds total. Pick the count that matches your hunt – a single box to round out the range bag, or a case to keep you shooting straight through the season.
