Description
The Rossi RB22 Compact is a lightweight, compact bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, built to deliver reliable, low-recoil performance for plinking, training, and small-game hunting in a package that’s easy to carry and shoulder. Built around a matte black stainless steel receiver and a free-floating, button-rifled steel barrel, the RB22 offers straightforward accuracy at a price that makes a .22 rifle an easy choice for new shooters and seasoned rimfire fans alike.
The 16″ button-rifled barrel is free-floated within the stock to maximize accuracy by isolating the bore from contact with the forend. A matte black finish on both the barrel and the stainless steel receiver keeps glare to a minimum in the field, while the blue synthetic Monte Carlo stock provides a classic, ergonomic wrist that fits comfortably in the hands of younger and smaller-statured shooters without compromising a proper cheek weld for adult shooters.
Iron sights come installed, with a fiber optic front and fiber optic rear for quick, intuitive target acquisition in varied light. A thumb safety sits within easy reach of the firing-hand thumb for positive engagement. A detachable 10-round magazine feeds the action, and at just 3.25 lbs with an overall length of 31.20″, the RB22 Compact is an especially nimble rifle for backcountry carry, a trip to the range, or handing off to a younger or smaller shooter in the family.
