Description
The Savage Impulse Driven Hunter is a purpose-built straight-pull bolt-action rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag, engineered for driven hunts, predators, and hogs. Unlike a traditional turn-bolt, the Impulse uses a multi-positional bolt handle that cycles straight back and forth, letting the shooter chamber a fresh round without breaking their sight picture or shifting their grip – a major advantage when a fast follow-up shot is needed on a moving target.
At the heart of this rifle is a 20″ matte black threaded barrel with a 1:10″ twist and a 1/2×28 threaded muzzle, ready for a suppressor or muzzle brake installation. The barrel is mated to a matte black carbon steel receiver fitted with an integral Picatinny rail for direct optic mounting. The proven user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a clean, crisp pull, and a tang safety provides positive, glove-friendly control.
The gray AccuStock synthetic stock features Savage’s three-dimensional aluminum bedding system that locks the action in place for consistent accuracy. An ambidextrous, multi-positional bolt handle accommodates both right- and left-handed shooters, and the rifle ships with one 3-round detachable magazine plus two sling swivel studs. With a 41.25″ overall length and a weight of 6.90 lbs, the Impulse Driven Hunter balances fast handling with the reach needed for long-range work on open-country game.
