Description
The Sig Sauer Zulu6 HDX 20x42mm binocular pairs extreme long-range magnification with electronic Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), the defining feature of Sig Sauer’s HDX lineup. Two selectable stabilization modes actively cancel hand shake and platform vibration, holding the image steady for calling shots, spotting hits at distance, or extended glassing sessions. A built-in 10-minute auto shutoff protects battery life between uses.
Sig Sauer’s proprietary HDX glass increases light transmission, contrast, and edge-to-edge resolution, while the roof prism optical path keeps the chassis compact. Lens surfaces carry SpectraCoat ultra-wide broadband anti-reflection coatings, and the exterior lenses are protected by LensArmor. Combined with 20x magnification and a 42mm objective, the Zulu6 HDX pulls distant detail into a sharp, stable image even in low light.
The housing is built from lightweight magnesium with a non-reflective Flat Dark Earth finish, balancing strength with a manageable 21.90 oz carry weight. Optical specs include a 3.30 degree field of view, 15mm of eye relief, and full waterproof sealing for confident use in adverse weather. A single AA battery powers the OIS system for up to 30 hours of run time, and a protective case is included.
