The Sig Sauer P226 X-Five Classic is a current-production 9mm Luger single-action-only (SAO) full-size pistol purpose-built for target shooting and competitive use. Machined in the USA, the X-Five Classic pairs a rugged stainless steel frame with an optic-ready, serrated slide and a 5″ bull barrel that gives the gun its long sight radius and inherently accurate competition platform.
Sig equipped this X-Five Classic with the performance-driven details discriminating shooters expect: a crisp manual safety, a Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover for mounting lights or lasers, an extended beavertail frame that lets the shooter’s hand ride high for natural recoil management, and a fully adjustable SAO trigger tuned for competition. The slide is optic-ready with a factory plate pattern for direct-mount red dots and is dressed in serrations for positive manipulation under stress. Fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights ride on top of the slide as a backup to any installed optic, and they co-witness cleanly with most mounted red dots.
A set of custom Hogue Cocobolo wood grips gives this stainless P226 a refined, classic look while providing a confident hand fit for fast, repeatable splits. The pistol ships in new condition with three (3) magazines for range time right out of the box, and the 10+1 capacity gives shooters a serviceable round count for most major USPSA-style competition stages.
