Description
The Sig Sauer Venari line of rifle ammunition is built around traditional soft-point hunting bullets loaded in reloadable brass cases for shooters who want consistent performance and the option to reclaim their brass after a hunt. This 243 Win loading carries a 100 grain soft point bullet driven out of the barrel at 2960 fps, producing the flat trajectories the .243 Win is known for, with a corresponding muzzle energy of 1945 ft lbs.
The exposed-lead soft-point design is intended to expand on impact for controlled terminal performance, and Sig Sauer lists the published application for this load as hunting. Every Venari cartridge uses a brass case that is reloadable, so handloaders can keep and reuse their spent brass. Each factory box holds 20 rounds, with 10 boxes (200 rounds) making up the full case.
Your purchase options:
- Box – 20 Rounds: One factory box of twenty (20) rounds, ideal for a single hunt or a quick range session.
- Case – 200 Rounds (10 Boxes): A full case of ten (10) factory boxes for a total of two hundred (200) rounds, the economical pick for high-volume shooters.
