The Steyr Arms HS .50 M1 is a heavy-hitting bolt-action rifle chambered in .50 BMG, purpose-built for long-range precision and tactical applications. Produced by Steyr Arms of Austria, the HS .50 M1 stands as the company’s most powerful sniper-grade rifle, pairing a 35″ steel barrel with a full-length Picatinny rail system and an adjustable chassis platform.
The action is built around a steel receiver finished in black and configured for right-handed shooters, fed from a 5-round detachable magazine for a total 5+1 capacity. The 35″ steel barrel uses a 1:15″ twist optimized to stabilize heavy .50-caliber projectiles, and it is fitted with a muzzle brake to help tame the punishing recoil of the .50 BMG cartridge. A full-length Picatinny optics rail with integrated side rails provides a rock-solid mounting platform for scopes, bipods, lasers, or other accessories. Iron sights are not included; this rifle is designed for optics-only use.
Controls include a crisp two-stage trigger and a two-position safety for predictable operation under demanding conditions. The adjustable black synthetic chassis stock pairs with a black polymer grip, giving the rifle a clean, uniform tactical appearance. At 48″ overall and tipping the scales at 28.70 lbs, the HS .50 M1 is a substantial, stable platform engineered for sub-MOA accuracy at extreme range out to 1,500 meters and beyond.
